Where are you based?
I am currently based in Lenoir, NC. About 1.5 hours from Charlotte, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Asheville, 3 hours from Raleigh.
What is the process for booking?
After you inquire with the contact form above, I respond, we discuss your vision and what you're looking for out of your experience with me and we make sure we are a good fit for one another. The next step is a signed contract and a retainer paid. Once that's done, you're locked in!
Do you offer payment plans?
After the initial retainer is paid, the following payments are made at key points between the current date and your date of your session/wedding (2 weeks out, 6 months out, 3 months out, etc.) I do offer a pay in full, cash discount if that's something that works for you!
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
Yes! If you don't have a specific spot in mind, I don't mind helping you find the perfect spot to tell your story.
What is your turnaround time?
I strive to get your photos back as quick as possible but it will never take longer than 4-6 weeks for couples sessions and 8-10 weeks for weddings & elopements.
How will we get our photos after the session?
I deliver photos via an online gallery that comes with a four digit download code. You can choose to share the link and code with whomever you'd like!
Do you sell/deliver RAW files?
I will never sell/deliver RAW images. It's like delivering unfinished work. You don't want that and I don't want that either!
Can we print our photos?
Sure! When you get your gallery back, there is a store option through the gallery you can use to select products to buy with your images!
How far do you travel?
As far as you need! I will travel to the ends of the Earth to document your story. After booking, we can discuss travel fees and those will be added to your final payment within your invoice.
What if we need to reschedule/cancel?
I allow one reschedule. After the one reschedule, if we need to reschedule again for any reason, you will be responsible for another retainer to book and hold the date.
Do you assist with a timeline or shot list?
I can absolutely help you form a timeline for your special day and provide suggestions for the best way to create a shot list for those must-have family shots. I welcome Pinterest boards for inspiration for your portraits together but know I will use my own creativity to recreate what you send!
Can you recommend other vendors?
Absolutely I can. I have my faves who I gel with and love to have along for the day. Let me know who/what you need, and I gotcha!
